Does your daily consumption threaten biodiversity?
Arctik launched an awareness-raising campaign on Biodiversity for the Federal Public Service Health, Food chain Safety and Environment (SPF).
More than 70% of Belgium’s biodiversity footprint is located outside our borders and is directly linked to our imports, and this biodiversity is under severe threat.
The erosion of the number of species is progressing significantly on land and at sea. How can we act for these animals and plant species whose habitats are sometimes so far from our home?
↪️#Bebiodiversity challenges consumers to change their consumption behaviours.
The main threats to biodiversity are related to our consumption patterns. We constantly interact with biodiversity through our clothing, food, housing, lifestyle and well-being. It is essential to change our consumption habits and start using more nature-friendly products.
Arctik designed a survey aiming at raising awareness about our impact on biodiversity for the Federal Public Service Health, Food chain Safety and Environment (SPF). Everyone is invited to assess how their daily consumption may have an impact biodiversity… Your participation will give you an idea of your consumption profile and where you stand thanks to a fun animal scale: your totem. You will also receive small tips that are easy to implement every day.
It’s free and it’s fun! (you can try to win a few “green” gifts like an electric bicycle!) Are you an ostrich or a hedgehog?
