Protecting the Arctic is protecting the planet!

The Greens/EFA organised a public conference on 11 April 2013 at the European Parliament on the threats that represents the Arctic melt.

During that conference, high-level speakers spoke up for the protection of the Arctic. Indeed, Arctic is melting at an unprecedented rate, which should be seen as a wake-up call for concrete action to protect our climate and not a business opportunity for developing more exploitative businesses.

If we fail to address the Arctic melt, we will witness an acceleration of disastrous impacts all around the world.
